Ema Plant donated bactericidal recirculators-irradiators to social institutions of Asbestos
Sverdlovsk plant of electromedical equipment “Ema” has equipped social institutions of Asbestos with equipment for air disinfection. As part of the charitable campaign, two social rehabilitation centers in the city, where minors are brought up, are provided with devices to fight coronavirus and other infections.
“In 2020, the machine-building complex was successfully mobilized to solve a new important task, to confront a new challenge – coronavirus infection. The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Evgeny Kuyvashev, instructed in the shortest possible time to significantly increase the capacity of infectious diseases services, deploy additional infectious beds, equip them with ventilators, monitors, and oxygen. The industrialists fulfilled this instruction in full, increasing the production of equipment necessary to save the life and health of people. The EMA plant, which is the leading manufacturer of surgical lamps in Russia, was one of the first to be actively involved in the production of equipment designed to combat the spread of coronavirus, “said Sergei Perestoronin, Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region.
With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Science, the plant carried out a lot of work to provide production with everything necessary, which made it possible to increase the production of bactericidal emitters by more than 15 times.
“The transfer of equipment to centers where children are brought up is relevant during a coronavirus pandemic, and will not lose its importance during an exacerbation of seasonal respiratory diseases. We will continue to help social institutions in our region, and now we are organizing the collection of new stationery, toys and sports equipment at the enterprise for transfer to orphanages, “said the general director of the plant Andrei Kaletin.Leave a reply
