Donors give gifts to children for the International Children’s Day

One of the happiest, most life-affirming holidays is June 1, International Children’s Day.
Throughout June, the Sverdlovsk branch of the Russian Children’s Fund, together with regional cultural institutions, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy and the Ministry of Social Policy, organize holidays for socially vulnerable families, children left without parental care, inmates of orphanages, boarding schools, social service organizations, foster families and families raising disabled children.
Throughout the month, children will visit circus performances, plays, film screenings, museums and exhibitions. A total of 1,500 people will attend cultural events and receive memorable gifts using Rosdetfond invitation cards.
“On the International Children’s Day, we will protect our children from lack of spirituality, we will delight them with premieres, performances and wonderful books published by the Russian Children’s Fund!”, Marina Cherkasova, the head of the regional branch of the fund, comments on the charity event.
The St. Catherine’s Foundation will present the pupils of social institutions of the region with a visit to the museum “Russia is my history!” And the company “Sima Land” will conduct several excursions and vocational guidance talks for future graduates.
At the end of May, a charity event was held, timed to coincide with the Children’s Day, organized by the Electromedical Equipment Plant “EMA” to equip recirculators with bactericidal social rehabilitation centers for minors in the city of Asbestos. This is especially relevant during the spread of a new coronavirus infection, and will not lose its significance during an exacerbation of seasonal respiratory diseases. Many different actions and events on the eve of the holiday are carried out by philanthropists throughout the Sverdlovsk region.
The Ministry of Social Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region expresses gratitude to all citizens and organizations that provide support to children and congratulates them on the International Children’s Day.
